The AI-search problem

Your buyers ask AI first. Are you in the answer?

Buyers now start research on AI engines. You lose out if they don’t name you.
“We’re never named when buyers ask ChatGPT for the best tool.”
We build the entities and citations models need to recommend you.
“AI answers are eating our clicks before anyone reaches the site.”
We structure content to win the AI answer.
“We have no idea where we stand inside the AI engines.”
Slate, our AI engine, tracks your citation share across each surface.
“Our agency only optimizes for Google's ten blue links.”
We run a GEO system built for how buyers research now.

Everything you need to know about GEO

What is generative engine optimization (GEO)?

GEO is the practice of getting your brand cited and recommended inside generative AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. It combines entity building, schema, content structure and third-party authority so the models understand and name you.

How is GEO different from AEO and SEO?

SEO earns rankings on the classic results page. AEO (answer engine optimization) wins the answer box: AI Overviews, featured snippets and People Also Ask. GEO (generative engine optimization) earns citations inside generative engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. We run all three as one system.

How do you get a brand cited by ChatGPT and Perplexity?

We build the entities, schema and citations the models rely on, structure content to be pulled and quoted, and earn mentions on the third-party sources LLMs trust, such as G2, review sites and communities.

How much does GEO cost?

Plans start at $5,000 a month and scale with scope. We confirm the exact figure after your audit, based on your goals and the work involved.

How do you measure GEO performance?

On citation share and pipeline. We track where each engine cites you, LLM-attributed sessions, and how that traffic converts through to opportunities, so you see the revenue impact rather than a vanity score.

Can our existing SEO agency just add GEO to their retainer?

Not really. GEO needs entity work, citation tracking, and schema built for AI parsing, which is methodologically different from relabeling an SEO retainer. If your agency is optimizing for the ten blue links only, adding a GEO line item to their invoice doesn't change what they're actually doing.

What happens to the inconsistent or inaccurate citations we already have?

We audit what AI engines currently say about you, then correct entity and schema issues causing the inconsistency. We don’t just build new citations, we fix the accidental ones you already have.

Which AI platforms and engines do you cover?

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Google AI Overviews.

Is there a minimum contract or commitment?

Most engagements run as a six-month initial term, then month-to-month. GEO compounds over quarters, so six months is roughly the minimum runway to see citation share move.

Who is, and isn't, a good fit for GEO right now?

GEO works best for companies with an established SEO foundation, $5M+ ARR, and buyers who already research using AI tools before they talk to sales. If your buyers don't yet use ChatGPT or Perplexity to research your category, classic SEO likely deserves the larger share of the budget today.
